TEAM

DEREK LUK, RN MN

His graduate thesis focused on studying the effectiveness of an 8-week online mindfulness program to reduce burnout for healthcare professionals, and completed his Prosci Change Management Solution Certificate in 2019.

He completed his Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Facilitator Training by MBSR Ottawa founder, Dr. Steven Hicks, and Advanced Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy certification from the Centre for Mindfulness Studies.

Through his dedication in promoting mental well-being, Derek was a recipient of the Avenue Magazine's Top 40 Under 40 in 2018 and Educator of the Year from College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
